Interapt is seeking a

Lead Java Automation Tester that will work within our testing organization, serving as a Lead tester to a team of four junior java automation testers. This role is responsible for delivery of automated test scripts, frameworks and applications for functional and performance testing under the guidance of a Senior Analyst. The selected candidate will be involved in understanding requirements, writing scripts and executing automated testing tools across the testing organization for a given customer portfolio.

• Build and use automation frameworks and other automated tools and assets such as predictive models, machine learning model and data analytics-based capabilities
• Design, run and report on automation or performance test scenarios, scripts and execution results
• Estimating the effort and cost for automation and performance testing efforts
• Working with offshore and senior QA managers to deliver projects on time
• Create and develop tools and assets for use with performance, automation or other testing analytics needs

Requirements

• Proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in a professional environment
• Demonstrate project management, teaming, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective organization and time management skills
• Good numerical/mathematical ability
• Proactive approach in identifying issues and presenting solutions and options
• Experience (including internship or education projects) in developing an application using a language such as Java or Python
• Programming and development concepts such as OOP, FOR loops, regular expressions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access and/or SharePoint)
• Desire to learn various development languages, automation, data analytics or performance testing in testing use cases

This is a full-time opportunity with competitive benefits. Candidates must reside in our around Alpharetta, GA and be willing to come onsite when it’s deemed safe to do so.
