Senior UI Engineer to join our team, whose focus is designing and building complex front-end applications that are usable, extensible and scalable. Due to COVID-19, this is a temporary work from home role but will ultimately work in our Atlanta, GA office part of the time.
What Youll Be Doing As an accomplished UI Engineer, you'll build visually stunning UI components, collaborating with our Software, UX Designers and Product Development teams.
Design and develop complex user interactions working with the Product and UX teams
Develop and maintain company web applications for several product lines
Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile-ready single-page applications (SPAs)
Keep up to date on the latest UI/UX frameworks and best practices
Develop and conduct system usability tests
Mentor and provide direction to other UI engineers, including code reviews, documentation and architectural guidance
Complete administrative responsibilities in a timely fashion

8 years ofuser interface design and development desired
Experience developing applications using modern UI frameworks, Angular preferred
Experience building front-end applications interacting with RESTful back-end services
Experience applying security, authentication and authorization best practices
Experience using Git source code control (Bitbucket, GitHub)
JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS, LESS, or SASS
Excellent communication skills, time-management, and interpersonal skills
Bachelors Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Information Systems, Design or a related field, or an equivalent academic or professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
8-10 years of experience in user interface design and development desired
Experience developing cross-platform mobile applications, Ionic 2+ preferred
ARIA, semantic HTML, and accessibility development a plus
Ability to effectively share technical information, communicate technical issues and solutions to all levels of the business
Deep technical skills, along with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
