JOB DUTIES:

Working with a cross-functional team, including Software Developers, UX/UI Designers, Researchers, and other SMEs to ensure that solutions accurately solve for the problems the team has set out to solve -Gaining a deep understanding of customer problems and pain points -Creating customer journey flow diagrams, empathy maps, process flow diagrams, etc. to aid the cross-functional team to understanding the problem they're tasked to solve -Creating high-level and low-level user stories using Gherkin format -Using data to make decisions -Defining and measuring success criteria for each project -Partnering with Product Manager and Squad Lead for effective planning and execution on roadmap -Leading grooming sessions with team members and knowing how to breakdown stories at a granular level -Effective and timely communication to stakeholders -Handling critical, complex, and technically challenging projects on both SAAS and IoT platforms -Understanding the end-to-end customer lifecycle to provide subject matter expertise -Maintaining a product backlog and Kanban board, measuring cycle time, throughput and other agile metrics -Effective management of issues/risks including escalations when needed -Facilitate demos to solicit feedback from stakeholders and internal team members -Validating projects for scalability and re-use in order to maximize the benefit of business investments in IT -Presenting to all levels within the company including executives, business managers, technical teams and business partners external to the company

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Product Owner or Product Management role in an Agile SAAS organization -Minimum of 3 years' experience managing software products from inception, through development and to market -Familiarity with analysis within one or more software development methodologies (Lean Kanban, Agile, Scrum)

DESIRED SKILLS:

Experience with native mobile apps (iOS, Android), IoT architecture, and/or M2M communication protocols -Strong skills as a change agent, problem solver, team leader and facilitator. -Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work and contribute in a team environment are essential, as are outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. -Experience using the following tools: Tableau, Data Studio, Jira, Jir Portfolio, Invision, Splunk, Miro -Has mid-level to expert technical experience and is comfortable talking "tech" -Comfortable with defining reporting metrics

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or higher is required -CSPO certification is desired -PMP, SAFE Agilist, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certifications are nice to haves
