This position will be responsible for managing major product development programs within organizations Truck/Trailer business segment and ensuring that products meet customer needs and market requirements. The position will lead multi-functional product development teams, including identification of team members, allocation of resources, development and maintenance of individual and group/development team objectives.
Responsibilities include:
Lead major product development platform teams from initial marketing requirements definition through concept development, product design, and full production.
Work with regional marketing/sales teams to develop key product specifications that meet and surpass customer requirements
Manage cross functional teams using ACE and Passport processes
Prepare and monitor program and resource plans. Direct and manage resources to achieve on time, on budget project delivery, interfacing with all functions.
Engage international supply base for cost effective, reliable solutions
Communicate project objectives, status, and resource requirements to senior management, as well as to project team
Education
Bachelors degree in relevant engineering discipline with 10+ years related experience; or MBA/Masters degree in relevant engineering or business discipline with 7+ years related experience.

Technical understanding of transport refrigeration products for truck/trailer business is important
Strong verbal and written English skills.
