K Shea CPA LLC in Athens, GA has a position for an Advanced Accounting Manager. We are a small, growing office of 8 that aims to improve small businesses by:

We are looking for an advanced accountant with 3 to 5 years' experience in a public accounting environment, serving a variety of industries, particularly small businesses in the retail and service industries. An Accounting degree is ideal, but not required, and candidate must have a strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts. Strong expertise using Excel and accounting software, preferably QuickBooks, is essential.
The ideal candidate would be an effective problem-solver who is comfortable working independently, and leading meetings with clients. Responsibilities include assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow analysis, and evaluating online tools in these areas. Candidate should be very comfortable researching technical accounting and tax issues. Position will also include full-charge bookkeeping, financial reviews, client training, payroll processing, and clean-up of accounting files.
We are a cloud-based, paperless firm, so please be very confident in using current technologies, and learning new ones. This may be a part-time (30 Hours) or a full-time position depending on the candidate. We offer a flexible schedule and relaxed environment, and do not require overtime.
