Star Thread Energy Partners is looking to hire a Property Maintenance-Mechanic-
Operator who is in search of a rewarding career and further growth in the renewable energy field. We believe our Operators are our greatest assets, and we provide training to encourage employees to continue to improve. Operators are responsible for operating machinery, turbine generators, and related equipment at the Star Thread Energy Power Plant in Oconee County Georgia.
As a Property Maintenance-Mechanic-Operator, you will operate turbine generators, motors, gating equipment, and various other equipment and machinery. -Provide routine testing, monitoring, and maintenance of that equipment.- Document plant performance and maintenance - Record daily flows and regulate water levels Trim & cut vegetation- Understand and adhere to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions. Other duties may be assigned.
Required Skills:
High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Display a willingness, aptitude, and self-discipline to study the required material and meet all prerequisites to perform regulatory reports and plans. The ability to successfully perform routine on-site maintenance and emergency repairs of equipment is essential. Willing to work all shifts including: weekends, holidays, evenings, and 24-hour emergency on call. Valid driver's license. Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds. Must be able to load, unload, and move large equipment and tools. Continuous walking, stair climbing, and lifting. Must be able to access confined spaces.
Desired Experience:
A minimum of two years or higher relevant experience. Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures, & safe practices. Property & vegetation maintenance & mechanical skills. Knowledge of regulatory rules will be trained.
