We are the most successful Ford dealership in the Athens area!Service Technician - Job Responsibilities:Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standardsDiagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairCommunicate with parts department to obtain needed partsExamine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is requiredRoad-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician, keeping in mind that the customer vehicle should not be used for personal errandsKeep shop area neat, clean, and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all timesUnderstand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastesMust follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisorService Technician - Job Requirements:Ford Certified is preferredExcellent customer service skills a mustProduct knowledge and tire quick service experience is a plusThe successful applicant must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and oral communication skills requiredKnowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system; diagnostic equipment and A/C equipment is a mustService Technician - Job Benefits: We provide a positive, professional work environment with the best training in the industry.
