Small business in the construction industry has an immediate opening for a competent business administrative assistant which will double as the Owner's personal assistant. This position works directly with the Owner. Must have proven/sufficient office work experience. We would prefer someone with Quick books experience, but it's not mandatory. This position requires 30 to 40 hours per week; position is hourly rate with no benefits. Working hours are Monday through Friday from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. The owner switch from the Office to the home office, so be prepare to move around, distance is about 1.2 miles.

We need someone fluent in Spanish to assist in the hiring process. The Spanish must be perfect, but Ok with someone learning English or attending English school. Must be able to read and understand in English, cannot execute the work otherwise.

This position will expend most of the morning hours on the phone interviewing construction workers. In between calls and along the day, this position will be processing quite a volume of office paperwork. It is not about filing and archiving documents, it's intelligent paperwork like purchases, purchase orders, submittals, insurance related matters, supporting documents to contracts, running office errands, purchasing office supplies and small tools, booking hotels for the workers, etc. Your days will fly, you will get busy.

Need someone extremely organized, thorough and attentive to details. We appreciate a neat desk.

Must have a reliable transportation.

Need verifiable professional and personal references from business and individuals operating in the US. Foreign countries references will not be accepted.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Associates Degree are a must.

- Strong written and verbal communications skills.

- Ability to work efficiently under time-constraints and deadlines. There is a decent level of pressure here, the work has to be done.

- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

- Experience with Word and Excel.

- Business attire and good manners are highly appreciated.
