Primal Screen is looking for an

Onsite IT Animation Support Specialist to assist an amazing group of creative minds who are working in a hybrid onsite/remote environment. You will work closely with the Director of Infrastructure to create and implement solutions to unique challenges. Come grow with us.

The ideal candidate has these skills and traits:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computers, engineering, science, math, information technology, entertainment technology, or professional experience equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a technical support role in the VFX, entertainment or gaming industry
• Knowledge of professional creative software programs, 3D production workstation architecture, and custom system image deployment
• Broad familiarity with information technology and proficiency in computer and network management
• Strong analytical, research and organizational skills, with high levels of curiosity, tenacity and patience
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Comfortable with helping less-technical audiences master new technologies
• Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects among many competing requests
• Self-starter, flexible, and proactive with a positive attitude

What you will be doing:

• Assisting Director of Infrastructure to solve complex challenges
• Providing analysis and thoughtful problem-solving
• User support and account administration
• Supporting producers/creative staff
• Supporting technology initiatives and communicating them to your colleagues
• System inventory
• Essential job functions require sitting, standing, walking, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasionally climbing a ladder
