This is a 24/7 Operations center with rotating shifts every two months in an office environment with minimal remote work.
The candidate’s primary responsibility will be the day-to-day support of the Data, VOIP, and Signals running across the Data Network. The candidate will be expected to analyze complicated systems, and assure high levels of stability, reliability, and availability of the production network environment, consistent with established change control policies and prescribed procedures.

Required:
5+ years hands-on experience
  • Configuring and supporting network equipment including Routers and Switches, ASA Firewalls, Mobility, 802.11, (Cisco hardware experience preferred)
  • Troubleshooting MPLS WAN, Multicast, AAA, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, T1/DS1, TCP/IP, VLANs.
  • DNS, DHCP, using SSH to connect to equipment.
  • Network Management Systems such as Microfocus NNMI, NetScout, Bradford, Infoblox.

Skills Required:
  • Familiarity with Cisco router/switch/security network management products and platforms.
  • Experience using network tools such as NetScout and HP Network Node Manager.
  • Experience with issue tracking and escalation.
  • Excellent time management and issue follow-up skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to perform in a team environment. Self-motivated with good work ethics.


Other Skills Preferred:
  • CCNA certification - preferred but not required.
  • Cellular Technologies.
  • Aruba Wireless AP’s
  • Prior Help Desk Experience


Education: 4-yr College Degree desired, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
