You will serve as the liaison between your team and the support center ensuring strong communication. As an Area Supervisor, you will focus on daily sales, marketing plans and restaurant operations including cost of goods sold, labor and guest relations. You have at least one year of experience as an Area Supervisor and four years of restaurant management experience. Even better - you have two years of experience as an Area Supervisor within QSR and six years of restaurant management experience.

  • DescriptionThis position will oversee the Retail Services Parts Departments and Parts Supervisors for Metro Atlanta Recon Services, Manheim Atlanta and Manheim Georgia. This position is responsible for managing the coordination and reporting of service and repair activities for Vehicle Acquisition Services which includes ordering, receiving, and distributing parts for the Retail Services Mechanic and Body Shops. This position is also responsible for managing the generation of purchase orders and the receiving and paying of them through the established systems. Additional duties may include oversight for maintaining inventories of shop tools and supplies. Job Responsibilities:Oversight of the ordering, receiving, sourcing, estimating and distributing of parts for the Mechanic and Body Shops. Monitor reports and processes that the Oracle iProcurement system is being utilized to procure and reconcile purchases and returns of parts. Verify through reporting that timely ordering and processing of purchase orders through iProcurement and/or AP shared service center is practiced. Monitor and verify that all inventory controls are maintained in all applicable systems. Monitor and verify that all electronic records are being maintained in all applicable systems. Verify inventories have been conducted at the end of the month and are in line with business needs. Build and maintain effective relationships with parts suppliers and other vendors to ensure effective communications for business needs. Communicate with other departments to ensure appropriate business needs are met. Conduct weekly team meetings to communicate department needs and receive employee feedback on processes. Provide weekly updates to location leadership on department successes and areas of opportunity that continue to be addressed. Manage and supervise the work of staff by determining work procedures, preparing work schedules, expediting the workflow, assigning duties and examining work for accuracy and conformance to policies and procedures. Provide timely coaching,counseling and discipline of employees regarding evaluations of employee job performance and using performance appraisals and corrective actions. Effectively lead the teams at the locations by setting an example in behavior, championing Cox/Manheim values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect. Enforce all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct. Work with AGM/Manager to review work volumes, plan and continuously monitor staffing levels to ensure efficiency, quality work product, and effective customer service#CD# review departmental performance against key performance indicators and metrics and develop and execute strategies for improvement. Ensures that self and employees maintain neat and orderly workspaces Wear and always use appropriate safety equipment while working in designated areas. Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Work in cooperation with Market Safety Manager in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
