Get to Know the Opportunity:
Highest level technical development resource focusing on highly visible, complex and critical business priorities and applications. Establishes plans for defining, delivering, enabling and supporting significant information technology components into the organization architecture. Sets direction and guides teammates through complex requirements, procedures, and processes to optimize system performance and efficiencies, balancing technical and organizational goals. Possesses strong analytical ability and excellent verbal/written communication skills. Financial services experience is desired but not required.

The Contributions You'll Make:

• Serves as the highest level technical development expert, resolving problems of systems integration, compatibility, performance potentially across multiple platforms; provides feasibility analysis on potential projects.
• Work with internal customers as well as external vendors/partners and need to build a strong rapport with key business customers in the investment teams, operations personnel and colleagues in other cross-functional teams.
• Builds and maintains systems based on approved applications architectures to improve business processes and in alignment/support of critical business strategies.
• Assesses the business and organizational implications of key application technology alternatives for wide-impact initiatives to recommend appropriate strategic action.
• Has proven ability to manage problem solving, troubleshooting and triage situations that bring matters to a successful conclusion.
• Facilitates continuous process improvements within team.
• Determines organizational impact of software maintenance issues and develops overall strategy to address them.
• Integrates activities with business units and collaborates to ensure project costs and schedules are properly estimated and controlled.
• Able to operate in a dynamic environment and be open to the adoption of new and/or changing technologies and toolsets.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or a directly related field, Master's Degree preferred.
• 6+ years of software engineering and development, including technical leadership experience.
• Significant experience across multiple platforms especially in Microsoft Technologies including web development using latest .Net framework with C# .Net, Telerik Kendo UI, Angular and other latest web technologies.
• Significant experience in large-scale integrated online RDBMSs using SQL server with SSIS and SSRS across multiple hardware and software platforms. Hands-on experience including strong database modeling, implementation, and SQL query skills
• Significant experience in new computing architectures and implementation of networked computing structures in Microsoft Azure dev ops environment.
• Experience with Python, Power BI, Microsoft Azure Cloud Technology is a plus
• Experienced scrum master leading a team using agile framework nice to have

Compensation range for this role is $99,710 - $158,640

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
