Job details :
The candidate must have the below capabilities:
Strong understanding of Production Support roles and responsibilities
Understanding of the Calypso Architecture and Distributed architecture and Schedule Task operations
Mindful of importance of timely and regular response when an incident occurs
Knowledge on ticket management tools (JIRA, Service Now, Remedy, Mantis )
Knowledge on scheduler operations tools (Control M, Autosys, Active batch etc)
Strong analytical skills to navigate and identify the root cause using logs as a starting point
Strong communication skills (written and oral) to explain the cause, effect and corrective action
Strong logic reading skills on Python and Java and apply fixes
Server technologies like windows, unix, Linux
Strong team player
Should be able to write programs in Java or Python
Ticket analysis to identify recurring issues and long term fixes
Ability to learn new skills on the job
Good to have: DevOps, Jenkins
