This is a night’s position.The Patient Care Tech (PCT) is a care provider who functions under the direction of the registered professional nurse.The PCT assists other health care providers with safe, age appropriate and culturally aware care by performing basicpatient care functions; ie ambulation, vital signs, phlebotomy, simple treatments and discontinuing foley catheters;transporting supplies/equipment/patient medications and performs other duties deemed necessary t ensure delivery ofoptimal care.QualificationsRequired Minimum Education :High school diploma or equivalentCNA license is the state of Georgia preferredBLS with American Hear Association requiredRequired Minimum Experience :Three years hospital/outpatient care setting or two semesters clinical nursing school experience preferredRequired Minimum Skills:Ability to read, write, and speak the English language; Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; Ability to collaborate with other health care providers in the provision of patient care; Ability to multi-task and function in stressful and emergency situations.
