The team is dedicated to ensuring that the IBM Cloud is at the forefront of cloud technology, from data center design to network architecture to storage and compute clusters to flexible infrastructure services. We are building IBM's next generation cloud platform to deliver performance and predictability for our customers' most demanding workloads, at global scale and with leadership efficiency, resiliency and security. It is an exciting time, and as a team we are driven by this incredible opportunity to thrill our clients.In this Cloud Security Technical Program Manager role, you will be work closely with the entire Cloud development organization and IBM vendors in understanding the regulations by conducting training sessions, facilitating meetings, interfacing with internal and external security teams, partners, associates on a regular basis, creating communication materials, Security Services materials i.e. power point presentations and hand-outs. You will ensure that the IBM Cloud meets important compliance and security milestones.You focus on the following key responsibilities:

Become the expert on corporate, International and regional Information Security and Privacy regulations.

Work with interdisciplinary management, development teams, partners and associates in a non-IT role to implement security and related compliance regulations and monitor the security and compliance level.

Collect, organize and maintain documentation as required by regulations.

Continuously build awareness on the security regulations.

Performs research and development to improve Genesis Cloud security posture

Additional Responsibilities:

Coordinate deliverables related to compliance efforts

Define requirements

Work to improve your knowledge of current tools (Kubernetes, LOGDNA, Zabbix)Preferred Location : Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Littleton, MA

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

5+ Years’ experience in Security Management/technical operations/Program/PM role

Experience implementing Security technologies, including encryption and access controls / monitoring

Management training or Project Management Experience

Four Year College Degree or equivalent job experience

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Working knowledge of industry security frameworks (e.g. ISO2700x, NIST, PCI, HIPAA, and Cloud Security Alliance)

Project Management Certification (Project Management Professional)

Excellent communication skills and problem solving

Demonstrated ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a matrixed environment

Ability to manage the details of compliance with policies, standards and industry frameworks

Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with senior business management and peers.

Strong business and technical process design and documentation skills.

Possesses a high level of technical/functional expertise and knowledge.

Industry expertise with best practices, standards, and technology.

Understands and applies policies and procedures.
