At VMware Pivotal Labs we help customers modernize their applications and infrastructure so they can deliver better software to production, continuously. Our consultants work with customers around the world who recognize software is core to what they do. We are looking for a highly motivated Program Manager to work on our Services Delivery Operations team to drive initiatives and programs across our consulting teams, enabling them to continue delivering great outcomes for customers.This individual will work with stakeholders in the business to develop and execute plans, drive timely completion of actions and ensure feedback loops are in place. Great communication skills and an ability to juggle multiple projects on the go are a must. Ideally, you will have an understanding of what drives technical teams and be able to understand technical concepts at a high levelKey Responsibilities:
Help plan for, launch and support various service initiatives
Coordinate and facilitate meetings with key stakeholders, drive activities and track detailed follow-up actions
Create relevant materials, process documentation, business requirements and presentations
Collect feedback from sessions and augment the process and materials
Report out on progress with weekly & leadership readouts
Remediate issues and remove roadblocks to ensure program success
Manage relevant systems and tools
Qualifications
5 - 7 years of program management or technical experience
Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills with the ability to address both executive and technical audiences
Self-starter, taking initiative and requiring minimal oversight
Ability and desire to quickly learn new concepts and tools
Strong problem-solving skills: must be capable of accurately assessing needs, maintaining a calm business demeanor, and taking quick action to resolve issues
Ability to take broad concepts and create “client-ready” deliverables
Experience developing and executing project plans across multiple projects under tight deadlines
