Coordinates the strategic planning process and monitors progress toward achieving project goals.

Assists in developing, administering and monitoring project related budgets.

Coordinates logistical arrangements for related conferences, conventions or meetings.

May assist in identifying funding resources and in developing funding strategies and initiatives.

Develops and generates various operational and statistical reports.

Represents and promotes the project at various speaking engagements.

May write grants, reports, briefings, newsletters, promotional or other written material related to the project.

Performs related responsibilities as required.

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:This position is responsible for assisting in the overall research operations of a multi-component research project being conducted by Emory University, Morehouse School of Medicine and Georgia Tech. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Administrative ResponsibilitiesWork closely in coordination with the PI and Project Director to support the research teams.

Assist in coordination of research implementation activities between the institutions and within the collaborative teams and partner settings.

Submissions to the IRB and communicating with IRB staff.

Assist with protocol adherence, human subjects, personnel management and budget oversight.

Assist in development of internal guidance and policy documents to help guide internal operations.

Coordinate weekly and ad hoc meetings.

Develop presentations to represent the project at local and national meetings.

Record and consolidate notes and identify action items and takeaways from key meetings.

Develop internal communication and reports.

Coordinate performance monitoring tracking and documentation to ensure adherence to NIH standards.

Perform related responsibilities as required.

Operational ResponsibilitiesAssist in the planning and development of survey instruments, guidelines, procedures, and protocols to recruit participants and collect and manage required data.

Will be responsible for monitoring primary data collection in REDCap. Strong preference for the ability to troubleshoot and develop databases when requested.

Assist data team in the monitoring and evaluation of the data.

Supervise and coordinate student assignments.

Assist in the day-to-day operation and overall coordination of all aspects of the project.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of related project management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:STATA experience.
