Sr. Software Engineer (Sterling MFT SM)

Location: Atlanta-GA
Job Description: This role will strengthen the overall Sterling MFT team and along with the Lead of the team, positions the platform and team for Cloud migration in 2023. The resource will be focused on driving DevOpS principles, automation concepts, platform resiliency, robust and proactive monitoring, together with the adoption of a formalized Agile methodology in 2023 . This role requires Sterling MFT SM
The Sr. Software Engineer will lead the Sterling MFT team in the definition, design, development, implementation and operational support of a robust, scalable and reliable Enterprise IBM Sterling MFT suite of products (B2Bi/SFG and ICC) and MFT-related technologies. The role will be both strategic (technical/solution architect) and tactical (Hands-on development) across the Sterling Platform. Extensive enterprise-level experience (5-7 years) with B2BI, SFG, and ICC is required.

Job Requirements:
  • Do not need to be local to interview, we can do that remote. Will not be required on site immediately, can work remote but must be willingly to come to Atlanta if required
  • Contract to Hire

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of Agile concepts and techniques
  • Solid working knowledge of LINUX platforms
  • Network Protocols: HTTP/S, SFTP (SSH), TCP/IP, UDP/IP
  • SQL
  • General development concepts (reusability, code efficiency)
  • Working in virtualized environments
  • Working with network teams to provide firewall and load-balancing direction
  • Command line proficiency in Linux and Windows
