Sr. Wireless Network Engineer to join their

Hybrid team in

Atlanta, GA.

This opening is a 6-month Contract to Hire position

This

Sr. Wireless Network Engineer requires a broad skillset and may participate in multiple wireless technologies/platforms such as Internet of Things (IoT) and Real Time Location Systems (RTLS) and those infrastructures. This position will partner with various departments and business partners for requirements and enterprise architecture to design, and operations to implement and support the organizations wireless infrastructure/solutions which includes and not limited to network, security, device management and core network and infrastructure underlying technologies.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Partner with various departments and business partners for requirements and enterprise architecture to design, and operations to implement and support the organizations wireless infrastructure/solutions which includes and not limited to network, security, device management and core network and infrastructure underlying technologies.
  • Implements IoT cloud computing solutions not limited to experience with Azure, AWS etc
  • Evaluates and tests RTLS end point devices and backend infrastructure for interoperability on the supporting communications platforms and infrastructure, including demonstrating expertise and knowledge of sensors, device firmware, hardware and server infrastructures and supporting operating systems


Required Skills & Experience
  • At least 7+ years' experience in a technical support position in a microcomputer environment
  • At least 7+ years' experience in knowledge of generally accepted networking principles, including data loss prevention, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory in supporting multi-protocol network environments (i.e. BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IP Multicast, MPLS, QOS, VLAN, and VOIP)
  • At least 7+ years' experience in physical and logical network design, including network management and detailed packet analysis
  • 5+ years of experience in WIFI, BLE, UWB or RFID communications technologies
