Join our Avionics team today.This Test Equipment Technician is primarily responsible for supporting the Atlanta service center with test equipment up-time. This includes performing testing, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration on various moderate to complex electronics and avionics test equipment.Job Responsibilities:

Schedule and facilitate ATE and manual test station calibrations.

Accountable for the coordination of shipping for external calibration and repair services of test equipment.

Utilize TEMS to track and coordinate the monthly calibration of COTS equipment.

Responsible for maintaining and controlling Collins Aerospace test equipment assets.

Responsible for managing multiple tasks for multiple internal customers simultaneously.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Possesses knowledge of Collins Aerospace test stations and products.

Works in a self-directed manner on assignments.

Completes tasks in an efficient and timely manner.

Must be able to work effectively as a team member understanding how your individual work affects the overall process and workflow of the team. Being able to collaborate with others is a must.

Resolves conflicts, promotes work sharing, and motivates a team toward common goals.

Effective oral and written communication skills (clear, concise, succinct).

Effectively communicate with all levels of the service center and support teams.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.

Demonstrate ability to use the SAP Material Module.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time and comfortable walking long distances as this position requires extended periods of time away from a desk.

Must be able to lift large pieces of test equipment (up to 50 lbs.) from a variety of different heights on a regular basis. Lifting heavier equipment is occasional but should be done with assistance.

Basic Qualifications:This position requires an HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.At Collins, the paths we pave together lead to limitless possibility.
