5Church Atlanta is searching for a Pastry Chef to lead our from scratch pastry department. The right candidate is someone with a culinary degree with experience of a high volume establishment.

Requirements:
- Pastry Menu Development and Execution for Restaurant and Events Departments.
- Responsible for appearance and taste of all pastry items.
- Seasonal changes to menu.
- Organizing and executing daily prep duties.
- Communication with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef regarding prep and menu items.
- Responsible for organization, cleanliness, sanitation & maintenance of pastry equipment and area per regulations of the Health Department and 5Church.
- Communication with the Chef and/or Manager on Duty about all pastry related issues, menu changes and/ or updates before and during Restaurant or Event service.
- Responsible for receiving orders from purveyors and assuring their accuracy.
- Ensure quality and standards are upheld at all times through proper preparation of food and adherence to recipes.
- Must be available to work on weekends and all Major Holidays.
- Possess a Serve Safe or other Food Handlers certification (preferred)
