The downtown Atlanta location of Tom Dick and Hank is currently accepting resumes for experienced FOH and BOH staff to join our team. We are gearing up for our rooftop patio opening and the high volume that comes with it. We are looking for the following types of people to fill server and bartender roles, as you are the main component of the sales team, responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Servers and bartenders are responsible for maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant and the high service standards.

Provides a favorable image of the business at all times.

Adhering to hygiene, health and safety and best practice standards.

Knows and complies consistently with our standards, quality standards and house rules, policies and procedures.

Maintains detailed knowledge of all menu items.

Delivering the 10 steps of service

Maintaining a clean dining room, bar and service stations

Managing efficient guest check out

Maintaining service ware and condiment par levels

Filling in for absent staff as needed.

Assisting with special events as needed.

Greet all guests and owners warmly with an appropriate greeting.

Must possess High School Diploma or equivalent

3-5 years of experience as server and/or bartender, preferably in high-volume environment

Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.

Knowledge of 10 steps of service

Positive interpersonal skills required

Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant including moving and responding quickly for long periods of time.

Must be detail oriented with the capability to oversee restaurant operations and multiple areas simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates must have excellent customer service and employee relation skills.

Knowledge of various drink recipes and beverage service standards

Demonstrated communications skills, as well as math, cash register and POS system.

Must be willing and able to fill in where needed and ability to perform all functions at the restaurant level.

Position requires prolonged standing (up to 10 hours)., bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.

Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operates phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment.

Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Must be able to work day, nights and weekends and have the stamina to work 40 to 50 hours per week.

Cooks are responsible for passionate delivery of the TDH menu. Cooks prepare a variety of food products including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks, breads and other food products using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prep List. Cooks are also responsible for accurate and efficient, portioning, cooking plating and garnish all menu items while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.

Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served.

Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment.

Adhering to hygiene, health and safety and best practice standards.

Uses our Standard Recipes for preparation and portioning of all products; portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.

Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.

Understands and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.

Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.

Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.

Handles, stores and rotates all products properly.

Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.

Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.

Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.

Promptly reports equipment and food quality problems or product shortages to Kitchen
