What You Will Do:

Manage project teams to deliver Material Handling Systems (MHS) on time and within budget. Responsible for developing the project delivery plan and managing project scope related to services and equipment. This role encompasses project engagement from upfront project plan development thru end user acceptance testing.

• Developing project plans and schedules, creating project organization plans and administering / maintaining all project documentation; deliver project in accordance with the business plan.
• Management of project scope changes (including development and communication of change notices)
• Management of diverse project services (Engineering, Installation, Commissioning, Testing)
• Financial management and analysis of projects (budgets, estimate at completion, cash flow, expenses and staffing.)
• Writing and delivering high quality documentation and analysis.
• Leading the development of a portion of Client deliverables and presentations.
• Fostering positive communication between internal teams, building general contractors, city/county permitting and inspection officials, sub-contractors and Clients.

Education and Work Requirements:

• Bachelors degree required (industrial, mechanical or electrical engineering preferred)
• 2+ years of Project Management (PM) experience; PMP certification preferred
• Strong business acumen; ability to understand a project business plan
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally (up to 70% during project delivery phases)
• Proficiency using Microsoft Project software
• Experience managing project delivery teams (mechanical, electrical, controls, and testing engineering disciplines), managing project financials, installation and general construction labor services
