Busy Ophthalmology group in need of Front Office Coordinators and Techs to work in clinic. Medical experience preferred but will train entry level candidates looking to break into the medical field. Wonderful work environment with excellent benefits and competitive pay.
Front Office Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
-Answering phones/handling patients concerns
-Check In/Out of patients
-Collect co-pays, deductibles and coinsurance payments
-Insurance Verifications
-Schedule office appointments, radiology and procedures
-Scanning and filing
Back Office Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
-Escort patients to exam rooms
-Take medical history of patient
-Obtain patient vitals
-Clean and stock patient rooms
-Enter patient information in EMR
-Call patient with results and/or scheduling
-Medication Prior Authorizations
