DENTAL ASSISTANT
MIDTOWN/BUCKHEAD
The Atlanta Dental Group PC dental team is looking for a motivated individual who loves people and is dedicated to helping others. The candidate must love people and be comfortable speaking with people since this position involves close patient contact and close cooperation with the dentist. Our dental practice is a great place to work and we have the pleasure of helping patients every day.
The dental assistant takes panoramic radiographs, periapical radiographs, bitewings, assists with oral surgery and endodontics, works with our Cerec machine, takes photographs and much more. Because our office performs most dental procedures, many dental assistants must be updated or reeducated to be able, for example, to do root canal therapy. This position also offers in-house training at no cost to the new staff member.
PDF dental assisting front office and back office handbooks are provided so you need a home computer or laptop
The candidate must have a home computer that works with Adobe PDF files and can access the Internet.
This is a long term position with the hopes that the candidate grows and become part of our long term dental staff. Living a reasonable distance from the dental practice is important because traffic is a consideration in Atlanta when it is necessary to get to work on time. Please do not apply if your commute is over 45 minutes.
