HR Associate (Ace Advantage, Inc) – Atlanta, GA

Work hours: 9-6PM, Monday to Friday

We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Associate with prior experience in Staffing and Onboarding to join our Human Resources team. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, he or she will be responsible for a wide range of administrative human resource functions in areas such as recruitment, compensation, employee relations, training and development, and benefits administration. You will work closely with all functional areas of the organization and will serve as the point of contact for HR inquiries. You will also be responsible for reviewing and auditing HR data, and assist with handling the daily functions of the Human Resources department.

This position requires attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, typing, and working knowledge with Microsoft Office skills. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and had the ability to perform efficiently and effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact for all general HR inquiries, administration, and correspondence.

Manage job postings, recruit and pre-screen applicants according to job specifications.

Schedule new employees for new hire orientation, conduct onboarding sessions, collect and process new hire paperwork, create and upload documents to employee files.

Interpret and explain policies and procedures, rules and regulations related to human resources.

Assist with employee’s time and attendance with ADP Total Source.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and trust on all levels.

Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems.

Strong ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly and communicate clearly.

Manage Leave of Absences, FMLA, OFLA, ADA and Worker’s Compensation.

Facilitate Performance Management program.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience, skills, and qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

- Min. one (1) year of Human Resources, recruiting, or related experience preferred.

- Excellent people skills, with an ability to assist in employee relation matters.

- Working experience with computers and Microsoft Office, including proficiency in Excel, Word & Outlook.

- Minimum typing speed 50 WPM preferred but not required.

- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.

- Excellent planning, time management, and decision-making skills.

- Attention to detail, highly organized and efficient.

- Work effectively under pressure and with frequent interruptions.

- Good understanding of State and Federal laws, rules, local laws and regulations.
