My parents own a business which is contracted cleaning work for a large real estate company. The goal of the job is to make sure the real estate company's houses for sale are maintained and do not become too dirty. Most of the houses are already clean to semi-clean, and many times you will be sent to the same house over and over (and still get paid every time). My parents need to find at least one person to replace me since I am leaving for school in a couple of weeks. I will be switching to a more managerial role for their company. So far, I have been the only one doing the work. Each house pays $15 and takes about 15-20 minutes to go through to make sure nothing is getting too dirty. NOTE: It is not a deep clean or anything, but just general upkeep which is not too strenuous. I always get two houses done in an hour, which is the equivalent of $30 an hour. Assigned houses vary from around 20-50 a week. Most can be done anytime during any hour of the week, as long as they are all completed by the end of the week. This gives you amazing flexibility!
Duties:
Vacuum carpet
Make sure toilets and appliances are not dirty
Remove any bugs in the house
Take before/after pictures
Requirements:
Have reliable transportation to drive to the houses.
Have a vacuum, cleaning towels, and a general cleaning spray.
Have a smartphone, preferably a newer generation iPhone.
