Maintenance Technician
Goal Properties (“GOAL”) is a third party residential property and asset manager. We offer a wide variety of homes, from affordable to luxury, in multiple markets across the United States. We currently have an opening for a Maintenance Technician based out of our Atlanta office. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, be exceedingly well organized and be a team player. The candidate must have strong computer skills, be comfortable using a computer and tablet, and be able to problem solve.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all aspects of maintenance within the market for rehab, turns and repairs. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing repairs and inspections of single-family homes in the greater Atlanta area with the knowledge of rent ready end-result by performing the following duties.
Primary duties include but are not limited to:
Inspects homes at turn time to develop a scope of work for property using GOAL technology
Identifies resident responsible charges
Communicates with manager on repairs needed
Completes repairs to properties when deemed necessary by the manager
Inspects homes and verifies move out, market ready, rent ready and move-in status of property
Responsible for emergency calls from residents as needed
Documents and tracks jobs using GOAL technology
Take marketing photos as needed
Meets and communicates with residents in a professional manner
Work week consists of 40 to 45 hours on average with mandatory overtime required during peak season of April through September. Weekend hours required as needed.
Performs special projects and other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
Minimum 2 years of construction knowledge, electrical, plumbing, carpentry skills or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven computer skills, proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) comfortable using an IPAD and smart phone, proficient in word processing and internet software. Must be able to adapt to innovative technology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic Math skills are required
Fluent in English speech and comprehension required, Spanish speech and comprehension a plus
Renowalk experience a plus
Valid state driver’s license is required
Must have reliable transportation
