This position is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining and supporting LAN, WLAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, QoS, and VoIP including installation and maintenance of hardware, software, troubleshooting and security. The Network support Engineer provides high-level technical support for voice and data network systems, creates, and maintains network documentation, maintains hardware and software standards, and leads projects as needed to upgrade to new and/or improved equipment software, hardware and procedures. The Network support Engineer will be well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems.
