Job Description
Apex Systems is looking for Network Virtualization Developer who can create innovative solutions including software defined networks and network function virtualization. This client focuses on advanced networking technologies, cloud-based networking operation including virtual machines and containers, 5G/NextG networking technologies and network adaptation through machine learning. Key products include deployed prototype systems including hardened cellular networks, communication and spectrum sensing machine learning algorithms, physics-based modeling and simulation tools, and system analyses. The ideal candidate will have a desire to work on innovative virtualized network architecture, development, and characterization. As well as apply engineering, large-scale networking and virtualized network architecture development to complex, multi-constrained networking problems of interest with access to multiple and varied 5G testbeds including access to off-site live 5G networks.
Job Duties
Tasking will be assigned to leverage the existing skills of the candidate, including large-scale network architecture, application of advanced networking concepts including network slicing, network splitting, multi-layered networking, network function virtualization, control/user plane separation, edge computing, software-defined networking and network performance prediction and characterization.
