Director II Technology

Atlanta, Richmond, Norfolk, Cincinnati, Chicago, Indianapolis

The Director II Technology is responsible for providing the business and commercialization strategy behind blockchain development of new products and modifications of existing products across all lines of business. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Must be capable of providing top-tier support for 5 or more of the information security technology common body of knowledge skill sets: 1) Access Control, 2) Application Security, 3) Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning, 4) Cryptography, 5) Information Security and Risk Management 6) Legal, Regulations, 7) Compliance and Investigations, 8) Operations Security, 9) Physical (Environmental) Security, 10) Security Architecture and Design, 11) Telecommunications and Network Security
  • Monitors, measures and communicates delivery against strategic plan and the quality of outcomes
  • Provide guidance on strategic priorities across multiple initiatives to drive the right value at the right time for the right stakeholders
  • Act as the key point of contact for other teams in our OTIC/Fast Forward workstreams and across the enterprise to partner together to ensure alignment for blockchain strategy
  • Oversees strategy and implementation of new technology offerings (products) and product changes/enhancements.
  • Own Identification/Opportunity Analysis to uncover opportunities and create high-value, technology-enabled solutions to complex business problems
  • Oversees strategic planning, budget development, and management for multiple project budgets, contract compliance, and any necessary integration of government regulatory requirements
  • Ensures products meet competitive and legislative needs and follow the policies and guidance set around product development.
  • Own implementation and partner to scale high value, technology-enabled solutions and services from MVP through deployment at scale; Advocates for current and future funding and secure budget for the continuous flow of value to stakeholders
  • Ability to drive one or more solutions from concept through to scaling with minimal oversight
  • Prioritize and execute multiple major projects/programs with broad scope and strategic business impact
  • Work collaboratively across a matrixed, cross-functional structure, and collaborate with a high-performance team

Qualifications

Requires a BA/BS degree; 10-15 years of leadership/management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • MBA or Masters preferred.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Excellent analytical, tactical, and planning, organization, and managerial skills required.
  • Proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties required.
