A digital consulting company is hiring for a Senior Java Software Engineer to work for their client and interface directly with their software engineering team. This engineer will aid in the building of a video delivery application which will generate play by play data and digital visualization. This is very unique and once in a lifetime opportunity in which you will work for a large football corporation, on some of the newest technologies in the Java and big data stack.
In terms of past experience, the candidate for this role will have at least 5 years of experience developing Java web applications in a senior role, or leading a team. They will need to have written code using the latest Spring components and multithreading principles. Ideally, he or she will also has utilized big data and continuous integration tools like Cassandra, Kafka, Jenkins, and Docker.
