Backend Software Developer

Remote - Full Time

This company, launched in 2012, has a mission to offer universal access to world-class learning. This platform is now one of the largest online learning programs in the world. Institutions world-wide use this platform to upskill and reskill their employees, citizens, and students in a variety of fields.

Skills

• 3+ years' experience with common frameworks, languages, and cloud infrastructure
  • EX. Java, Golang, MySQL, Kafka, AWS
• Proficiency in designing scalable and high-performing microservices and storage layers
• Ability to work in a fast-moving team environment

Responsibility

• Design and deploy scalable systems
• Analyze results and generate hypotheses to drive new product changes through A/B testing
• Monitor and test your APIs and services to better understand health of your products
