Apartments.com is looking for an exceptional Senior Web Developer/Designer to join our marketing team. As a key member of our marketing team you will work directly with our group of designers and marketing managers in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. We are looking for candidates who can design and build new responsive and elegant interfaces while maintaining a group of existing internal and external facing websites. As a front-end developer, candidate will demonstrate solid experience in .NET based content management systems while also embracing modern ajax techniques and JavaScript frameworks to develop rapid prototypes, and iterate on features to optimize our user's interactions. As a front-end designer, candidate will demonstrate a portfolio of work that showcases a proficiency in web, mobile, display, and email design.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop reusable templates for web and email campaigns

• Build and maintain customize templates/widgets on Acquia CMS

• Maintain and support multiple teams for our intranet sites
• Collaborate with design team and deliver development projects on time

• Lead testing and QA for multiple ongoing projects
• Participate in design reviews with key stakeholders and should be able to communicate with clear instructions

• Work on AWS CloudFront. Develop, deploy and maintain websites through AWS console

• Maintain branding and graphic standards throughout the company's websites through well-organized style sheets

• Help lead our usability standards based on a strong knowledge of industry best practices

• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices

• Provide fast and accurate level of effort estimates for ongoing projects

• Create and handle Jira tickets, work on Confluence-Wiki sites

• Work closely with different teams in the organization

• Add value to the organization by learning & adapting to new technology trends

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree

• Ability to develop for Drupal-based sites using SiteStudio
• Demonstrated ability in web development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, ASP.Net

• Ability to code for cross-browser compatibility, and sites that require security/authentication. Strong ability to code for responsive designs using bootstrap libraries

• Working knowledge on SQL, Amazon RDS and Google analytics
• Demonstrate experience in web api development and security implementation

• Expert at handling and publishing media assets (graphics/video) through CDNs

• Experience integrating social media services into websites

• Demonstrated background coding for email campaigns including landing pages across all client/device/browser combinations
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (focus on Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Working knowledge of Sketch

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• PHP experience a plus
