Position DescriptionThe Patient Care Tech is an unlicensed staff member who supports professional staff in providing care and service to patients and families under the direction and supervision of registered nurses, and supports the plan of care for assigned patients.Position RequirementsHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization. Current Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant, or passing grade in Fundamentals of Nursing course, or a minimum of two years of related experience. Must possess a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification. Organization and communication skills, must effectively speak, read and write English.Preferred RequirementsCurrent Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant.
