Master Mechanic

Our team of traveling equipment mechanics help keep our vehicles and team members running. You will use your mastery mechanic skills to travel to local crew locations and maintain vehicles as needed. Diesel and Hydraulic vehicles you may deal with are going to mostly be international and freightliner broadcast spray applicator trucks, but you may also deal with the following:

• Commercial Trucks

• Heavy Duty Pickups

• Backhoes

• Other road surface application vehicles

• Kubota/Mule/ATV’s

• Spray systems on our trucks.

More specifically, we want our mechanics to have a good understanding of:

• Hydraulics to include pumps, motors and valves

• Air Compressor Systems

• Bearings and Augers

• Flow Control Systems

• Cutting and Welding

• Fabrication

Our traveling equipment mechanics need to be in the know when it comes to fixing our equipment quickly and correctly. DBI requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years' mechanic experience (with both diesel and hydraulics), with any secondary certifications adding a bonus.

The traveling equipment mechanic position requires several physical demands including, local traveling, working in various weather conditions, the ability to lift 50 pounds, the ability to bend, stretch, stand, kneel, and squat have full dexterity in both hands, and remain on feet for several hours at a time.

Territory to include up to Athens, Louisville, Augusta, Dublin in Ga, potentially SC and NC at our other office locations.
