Our client in Brookhaven, GA has an opening for a Mobile Application Engineer This is a
full-time / direct-hire / hybrid position Job Description: Mobile App Engineer We’re looking for a Mobile App Engineer to develop new features for our existing React Native application available in the Apple and Google app stores. This role will be working with our existing development team to grow the eCommerce mobile app. The successful Mobile App Engineer will write clean and well documented React Native code to build new UIs for iOS and Android while concentrating on reliability and performance. What you’ll be doing:
Designing detailed components for our existing React Native mobile application available on iOS and Android.
Building functional prototypes of applications to demonstrate the value to the business
Assisting the other developers with coding and troubleshooting
Collaborating with existing team members to design, develop, and deploy new features utilizing reusable code and current best practices
Providing continuous support and maintenance for existing components
Writing unit and functional tests within automated test environments to ensure code quality
What we’re looking for:
Experience with JavaScript including ES6+
At least 2 years of experience developing React and/or React Native applications
Familiarity with REST APIs
Demonstrable experience working with frontend mobile/web applications
Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment
Experience with rapid prototyping and evaluation of variety of applications
Ability to write quality documentation to support other developers
Bachelor’s in computer sciences/similar field or equivalent experience
Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 based on experience
