RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of a Senior PMO Lead in Brookhaven, GA.
PMO Function: PMO Lead
Duties:
Works at the direction of the PMO Program Manager
Coordinates activities of PMO internal operations aligning with enterprise program needs
Performs tasks associated with Intake, Resource Management, and Supplier Management and, with the PMO Program Manager builds the functional operation and staffing for those functions
Supports the PMO Program Manager for ad hoc needs across the program including coordinating, reporting, and utilization of tools
Serves as an escalation point to expedite internal PMO matters
Team Leadership:
Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities
Serves as a resource to program management to educate and assist them with implementing project management processes and making improvement/changes
Developing an evaluation method to assess project strengths and identify areas for improvement
Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, quality and team member performance
Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services
Work up and downstream easily, including knowing or seeking out the right people for resources, help, or advice
REQUIREMENTS:
7-10 years of recent relevant experience
Should have experience defining PMO processes, establishing PMO cadence, and managing execution
Experience with PMO operations at a management level
Experience with Jira Software and Jira Align
Project Management with large scale projects
Experience in all aspects of project management including but not limited to triple constraints, project schedules, issues and risk management, project health reporting, and resource planning
Experience with Agile and SAFe a plus
