Dining Service - Thorne HallJob SummaryPerforms general sanitation duties mainly working in the dish room and pot and pan cleaning area. Is also responsible for sweeping and washing floors, cleaning walls, and employee restrooms. Cleans all kitchen cooking equipment, refrigerated, frozen and dry storage areas. Occasionally assists with other kitchen and catering duties.Education/Skills RequirementsAbility to read and write at 9th grade level preferred.Experience Requirements and/or EquivalentsSome related experience preferred. Demonstrated reliability as well as neat and clean appearance. Serve Safe certification required for advancement.Standard Work Days and HoursVarying shifts including frequent overtime, weekends, holidays and during weather emergencies. Required to work for major college events and weekends.
