Job description:Provides the highest level of systems support and performance tuning for mission critical customer environments. Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems. Recommends the optimization, redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications. Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications. Identifies methods, solutions, and provides leadership and management in order to provide a high level of service to our customers. Support the rest of the team with knowledge transfer and cross training including Escalations.For serious consideration, please call Charles at (904) 997-9960.RequirementsResponsibilities:· Perform Server OSEs Optimizations, Configurations and Management· Oversee and perform as necessary, Backups and Backup Status Reports for each Customer· Ensure File Level and OS Level Restorations occur as needed· Oversee and perform as necessary, Server OS Patching using Automox & WSUS· Maintain and Administer Enterprise Anti-Virus Solutions for Customers as needed· Define and Document best practices and support procedures· Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as needed; perform scheduled weekend maintenance as needed· Participate in On-Call Rotation with the Team as necessary· Proactively manage and maintain server systems and storage environments· Maintain and Administer Microsoft Active Directory Forest & Domains as needed· Support core Microsoft, Citrix and VMware Enterprise Solutions and Technologies as needed· Maintain and Administer VMware vSphere Virtualization for Customers as needed· Manage VMware Horizon Virtual Desktop Environment as needed for Customers· Assist in the management and maintenance of AWS Cloud Customer Environments as needed· Proactively manage and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Environments as needed· Perform Server Hardware Maintenance (Firmware Updates on regular schedule) as required· Provide Team Trainings on various Technologies and customer environments as requiredSkills:· Data Center and Desktop Virtualization Technologies Knowledge with VMware and Citrix Required· Experience with Microsoft and Linux OSEs is Required· Trend-Micro Security Solutions is Required· Server Hardware Knowledge with Nutanix and EMC vxRail Desired· Veeam Backup and Replication Experience Desired· Experience with AWS Cloud Technologies Desired· Netapp, Pure Storage and Zadara Storage is DesiredTechnology doesn't change the world.
