Healthy Pet has openings for DAY SHIFT and NIGHT SHIFT Production II (Automation) Associate positions. The Production II Associate operates a variety of industrial automated equipment to ensure maximum production.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
¾Ensures machines are running properly and all safety guards and panels are in place during production.
¾Monitors and maintains all packaging line equipment and makes adjustments necessary for the highest level of output.
¾Balances and works to continuously improve safety, quality, productivity, costs and teamwork to achieve positive results in all areas.
¾Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment. Ensures machines are running properly and all safety guards and panels are in place during production. Refers major mechanical repairs to maintenance, as needed.
¾Performs necessary equipment adjustments for production run changes.
¾Operates forklift in a safe manner.
¾Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
¾High School Diploma or GED.
¾Two years experience operating industrial machinery, production machinery and controls in a manufacturing environment.
¾Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
¾Must be detail oriented and maintain a high degree of accuracy and organization, make mathematical calculations, recognize, resolve and correct discrepancies in data or information.
¾Computer skills required for production data input and PLC error code trouble shooting.
¾Ability to work well under pressure. Must be able to function safely and efficiently while receiving multiple inputs from processing systems.
¾Must possess a forklift certification and maintain throughout employment.
¾Good verbal and written skills.
