responsibilities:
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and interprets business/user requirements; designs and develops programming to fulfill the request and requirements of the business/user through Java; tests, troubleshoots, makes updates, and supports the business applications in alignment with overall goals and objectives.
- Participates and drive development life cycle to include creating the concepts, design, and quality testing; utilizes best practice techniques as well as provides solutions to complex development tasks; monitors efficiency and addresses production and nonproduction issues
- Coordinates with other developers to integrate Java into system/web applications to support the client; serve as a leader on projects, architectural development, and testing
- Provide direction, mentorship, and guidance to lower-level developers; handles more complex issues and assists with lower to midlevel issues; reviews work of others as necessary
- Perform other duties as required
Experience:
- Five or more years of Core Java, J2EE, any RDBMS (Oracle / Sybase / DB2), application support, maintenance, and analysis
- Five or more years of Project Life Cycle experience
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
