This position is on-site in Covington, GA.
This is for a returning co-op only
It requires a 3 semester commitment.
The position is not eligible for relocation and/or housing assistance.
The R&D Co-Op program is designed to provide exposure to multiple disciplines and product lines within the Urology and Critical Care Research and Development function. The Co-Op participant is expected to learn the business and be a contributing member on assigned projects while gaining valuable experience toward their degree. Upon completion of the program, an R&D Co-Op participant will have gained real-world engineering experience and contributed to the design, development and/or launch of a medical device.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Writes test protocols and reports.
Conducts basic product testing.
Assists in building prototype devices and fixtures
Researches and reviews clinical data for assigned projects.
Assists engineers with other product development activities.
Commitment to 3 rotational semesters is required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program majoring in an Scientific or Engineering field.
