We are looking for a Manager, Game Engineering that loves solving problems and is passionate about creating games. You will be responsible for leading a talented team of game engineers creating the greatest casino games. You will play a vital role in the design and development of new technologies that will drive our clients' future.
Responsibilities
The duties of this role include but are not limited to the following:
Cultivate your team's culture of learning, collaboration, creativity and passion for making games
Provide technical expertise throughout the product lifecycle while improving the software quality and efficiency
Lead and mentor team members to build and retain talent
Exercises judgment in developing methods techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Provides management with reporting on the activities within the Engineering team.
Develop strategic planning for and direction and control of product development activities.
Ensure implementation of formal processes to support the product development process.
Required Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Experience in the gaming industry
1+ years of experience with C# and Unity
2+ years of experience directly leading an engineering team as an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead & Mentor.
Must possess a high level of personal and professional accountability and be able to enlist the cooperation of peer groups involved in common goals and objectives.
Ability to meet changing demands and to adapt to frequently changing priorities.
Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
Desired Requirements
5+ years of experience in a related field, Gaming and or casino industry experience
Experience with shipping games in Unity
strong C#, Unity, and C skills
Experience with Agile methodologies
