Responsibilities

AI/ML Engineering - AWS Model Platform Team is looking for an AI/ML AWS Software Developer that will help build a centralized AI/ML modeling platform on AWS. The centralized AI/ML modeling platform will be used by Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Machine learning engineers within the Enterprise to carry out data science and machine learning efforts on AWS.

The candidate is expected to perform the following responsibilities for the AI/ML Engineering - AWS Model Platform Team:
  • Interact with Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers to design and architect the platform, onboarding customers to the platform, develop platform capabilities and automations to support model lifecycle on AWS, implement platform integrations with AI/ML advanced capabilities like feature store, MLOps and platform support and enhancements.
  • Ability to provide architecture direction and strategy for solutions
  • Ability to create technical architecture and design for solutions
  • Ability to work in grey
  • Ability to be proactive and drive work in a timely manner
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong software development skills

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of at least one high-level programming language Python or PySpark
  • Developer experience in working with AWS services S3, Lambda, Athena, Glue Catalog, Lake Formation, IAM, AWS step functions
  • Ability to use a CI/CD pipeline to deploy applications on AWS Proficiency in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based applications using AWS
  • Ability to use the AWS service APIs, AWS CLI, and SDKs to write applications
  • Experience working with AWS SageMaker service, endpoint creation, deployment using SageMaker
  • Experience using Terraform (infrastructure as code)
  • Ability to write code using AWS security best practices
  • Understanding of the use of containers in the development process
  • High level understanding of machine learning lifecycle, environments and platforms
  • Knowledge and workings of the machine learning operations process
