The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, tuning, optimizing, troubleshooting and the general administration of storage/backup systems to support the technical capabilities of client. Required Knowledge, Experience & Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Experience working with Avamar/DataDomain
5+ years of experience in Information Technology related field
5+ years of experience in NetApp 7-Mode and CDOT Administration in large enterprise environment
Extensive knowledge of NFS, CIFS and iSCSI protocols on NetApp storage running Data ONTAP.
Qualifications a Plus:
NetApp Cluster-Mode Administration experience
Netapp Storage Grid
EMC experience
3PAR experience
DataDomain Cloud Tier
DataDomain Administration
Avamar Grid Administration
Dell PPDM (Power Protect)
Experience with NetApp administration tools - DFM, OnCommand (SANScreen) and Performance Advisor
Experience with various server administration, including UNIX/Linux and Microsoft Windows
Experience with NetApp SnapCenter
UNIX Shell and/or PowerShell scripting experience
Working knowledge with Service NOW is a plus
Knowledge of data center networking infrastructure
