Windows System Engineer - 5 ( Needed! )Atlanta, GA1 Year Plus ContractSalary: DOE
The engineer must be motivated, highly skilled and able to work with a distributed engineering team in a service-oriented role. Must be able to self-manage their projects and prioritize their daily responsibilities while working remotely.
Will be involved in all aspects of Windows server creation and maintenance through the server lifecycle across a multi-domain enterprise network. The engineer will work on a Windows Server Engineering team in an Agile methodology to satisfy our customer's requests and supporting the environment through high-level projects and daily requests. Although our Windows infrastructure is 95% virtual they must have knowledge of physical as well as virtual systems especially VMware and Dell Systems.
Required Skillset:
Windows Server Administration skills including HyperV and clustered environments
Active Directory knowledge
VMware for building, maintaining and decommissioning systems (provisioning, networking, storage and other items operations within VMware)
Windows Patching Foundations
DNS administration (AD, Bluecat)
Scripting Knowledge (PowerShell)
Additional skills or Knowledge:
Ivanti(Shavlik) Patching
Knowledgeable on ServiceNow or other ticket creation system
