Type of Requisition: RegularClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: SecretJob Family: Software DevelopmentGDIT is seeking a Sr. Software Architect to help support our Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) Enterprise Law Enforcement Support Services (ELEs2) program.This position in 100% remote.The Sr. Software Architect will research, design, develop, test, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software for ELEs2 application and systems for DMDC.In this role, a typical day will include:Creates and designs advanced phases of the software development lifecycle
Creates and designs complex software systems to meet business needs
Creates and designs highly impactful models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application
Creates and designs innovative software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs
Utilizes comprehensive analysis of project specifications, activities, or status to create and design complex software systems
Provides comprehensive guidance on the documentation of the software or system design
May act as a consultant across multiple programs and/or contracts
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
May serve as a team or task lead
Recognized as an industry leader in software development
Required Qualifications:DMDC Position of Trust or DoD Secret Level Security Clearance
BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
15+ years’ experience
