Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their EMT/AEMT/Paramedicine Adjunct Instructor position, in the Student and Academic Affairs Division. This position is located at ATC’s Main Campus, which is just South of Downtown Atlanta.The instructor will assist, prepare, and deliver effective lecture based content and/or lab instruction material to students. Prepares detailed lesson plans for classroom instruction for courses in the public safety programs. Using data from assessments, the instructor will evaluate students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives routinely. Prepares and maintains all required documentation and student files. Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training area. Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior. Assists with recruitment retention and job placement efforts. Maintains qualifications for employment as described by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) and accreditation standards. Follows rules and regulations as described by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) and other policies and procedures established by the institution. In addition, candidates must have the following required certifications: NREMT Paramedic, BLS and ACLS Instructor, ITLS or PHTLS instructor, GA Level 2 EMS instructor license plus minimum of three years’ work and teaching experience.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field and the following required certifications: NREMT Paramedic, BLS and ACLS Instructor, ITLS or PHTLS instructor, GA Level 3 EMS instructor license plus minimum of five years’ work and teaching experience.Work Schedule: Day & Evening- 19.5 hours per weekPLEASE UPLOAD A RESUME AND TRANSCRIPT.Background screenings are conducted prior to employment.
