Fulltime Permanent Position Project Manager – Software Location:Griffin, GA Job Description Nice to have:
Bilingual in Spanish- this person will be leading a team of English speaking developers out of Mexico if they do speak Spanish it would help them better relate to the team
Scrum experience- this is an Agile team but they are newer to the Agile environment and do not have a scrum master- this would be a plus
Experience managing offshore teams
Must have:
Software development background- they need someone technical to help them move to a new technology stack
Have an understanding of managing a development life cycle
Be able to create and manage roadmaps
Have the ability to lead a team and communicate with stakeholders on a technical and nontechnical basis.
Job Responsibilities
Plan, develop, and manage strategic technology initiatives utilizing project management concepts and technical tools
Develops cross-functional and integrated project plans
Management of project scope and maintenance of project documentation
Assign and oversee the daily tasks of development personnel while ensuring all are actively working toward established milestones
Build, lead, and coach multiple project teams throughout project lifecycles
Provide project updates and metrics on a consistent basis regarding strategy, timeline adjustments, and progress
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
The ideal candidate must be highly organized and possess attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency, along with solid oral and written communication skills. Must have the ability to work well with others and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office as well as possess the ability to easily learn new software applications. Background
Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
Strong communication, interpersonal, mentoring, organization, time management, and project management skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
1 to 3 years Project Management experience, with a progression in responsibility
